In the 777model sign up it seems they don't have USA or Europe as an address option?? Or is it a site glitch of some sort?

Interesting with the mystery program cards flowing around. I still dont see 8/16 Khz and the other one does not have the Governor settings....
Let me know which one works! Peter, I got the boards today. Seems aussie post is mighty fast to DK! Looks good, thanks! Jussi |

Dual ST gyro board file
Just in case someone else needs to make the PCB for ST (LPx550AL) gyros, here are the schematic & PCB. It's compatible with Kaptein's flight controller. I've been flying with them, and I'm quite happy with it. Will have some aggressive flying videos when I find my hat camera again
More information about them: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...postcount=1674 https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...0#post15208727 Hope someone find it useful -Thanh |

Now that I'm getting used to flying in heading hold mode, I'm fairly certain I'd prefer it over an always on auto-leveling quad copter, but it would be nice to be able to flip a switch when you want to effortlessly hover/steer around the park, or have the copter instantly right itself when orientation is lost. After looking at videos from the FY-20A I think there's fair chance it would fit that need on any KK based multicopter. Unlike FMA Copilot with IR sensors, it uses 3 gyros and 3 accelerometers. It seems very straight forward to hook up with aileron, elevator & rudder in/outputs and a channel controlled mode switch (off/3D/stabilize). BevRC.com has the lowest price so far at $115, but that's still too much for me to risk on an auto-leveling feature that should, but may not work, on a multi rotor copter.
If anyone tries one out on their quad, please do share your thoughts on it. Especially if you are able to quickly toggle between off and stabilize modes to instantly self-right your copter. |

The signal is compatible with any other ESC, but you wont be able to fly if you replace that servo with a motor. Mixings of controls for tri and quad copters are not alike. The signal for the servo only changes when yaw happens. |

bob I had tried the factory wii motion plus module and thought the hold on the yaw was a little weak. Second I tried the wii motion plus clone and it looked very promising with the three mems gyros and was easier to hook up. Unfortunately I had a short which blew out the yaw gyro before I actually got to fly it and haven't had time to try again.

https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1246831 (I'd say a third. I paid $15 for one three-axis WMP, while the HK401Bs cost $15 per axis.) Bob, the mixing for a quad is not that difficult, but different from mixing for a tri. There are just a few lines of code that need to be changed in the "baronpilot" software to make it work for a quad. As soon as I have my hardware sorted out (the quad crashed yesterday, and I still have to hook up the WMP sensors), I'll assist on the software. Either by publishing my own, or by modifying baronpilot. |
