I still have some tweaking to do but the setup is rock solid.

super stable FPV and LOS video platform.

This video was shot both FPV and LOS.

Was there any discusion of offering or the use of the longer arms with the Y6 kit?

yes, they did come longer then what you saw in the video. i just cut them down a lot because it fits in my car better, plus i like the Nimble movements of a tri with short arms. for things other than FPV.

Cool!
That's good that they come longer. I hope to see it on his page soon with a chance to purchase the Y6 board.

I just got the final hardware I've been waiting for to finish my Tretch-copter. Now I need to sit my arse down and finish it up. Mostly I just need to mount the electronics and camera setup. A little each day and I should have it up and running pretty quickly. If I can fly it half as good as Tretch flies his I'll be a most happy camper. Will post pictures when done.

@Vantasstic...I was taught by my mentor to set aside 30-45 minutes each when building, this way you don't rush and mess something up trying to get done in day. In actuality you'll spend about an 1hr.

You can use the standard paris v4 board for the y6. you just need to get the ppm converter from diydrones. it's like 24bucks. that all i used works great.

Hey Tretch5000...What are your PID Settings for Acrobatics? The ones on your blog are for FPV.

How easy is it to re-program the Paris V4 board?
Mine came as a Tri but now want to do it as a Y6.

comment out tricopter

Uncomment Y6

you might have to change the yaw value from -1 to 1

depending on the radio you use..... you are going to have to uncomment PPM Sum for the RX you have
that's it

I have a BlueSkyRC Tricopter frame, but I'm using the electronic gear you have 800kv motor w/10x4.5 props. My motors are set at 11.25 inches from center or CG.

I take it that it's not done in the 1.7 app

Sorry,
you have to do it in the Arduino Setup.
with the FTDI cable.
you can use 1.7 if you want. should be fine.
