Thanks Opus. I will check MultiWii thread and MultiWii site http://www.multiwii.com/ I think that learn to fly multicopters without automatic function make stronger for the future...

Leave it in the box in your house!

I like the blueskyrc tri frame for the built in roll cage. Other things that work are a KK board sized piece above the board on spacers to help protect it.

I am considering, however, to mount on my first tricopter a board that allows Automatic Hovering as FH-X46 Pro http://www.foxtechfpv.com/fhx46-prot...ler-p-286.html
I would like to know if this board is compatible with engines whose inclination is adjusted directly by servos as in this case http://www.rcexplorer.se/projects/tr...copterv25.html ?

It does not appear so in the manual, they support what they call Y4 which looks like a tricopter but uses top and bottom motors on the tail.

Build a multiwii and join us here!

Thanks Capt. Mutilwii is a possibility I'm thinking. If I buy this just assembled MutiWii SE board http://www.ebay.com/itm/MWC-MultiWii...item1c219dadcd

Is ok ? And it support motor configuration of Tricopter 2.5 http://www.rcexplorer.se/projects/tr...copterv25.html ?

Many are now jumping on the the MultiWii Bandwagon, as a suggestion, if they don't support Alex by making a donation to encourage future developments, I would not support them. Ask the seller questions about their support for Alex.

Yes that should work, it does not have a history record as they are new on the market but I have read some builders have ordered them and will start testing.

I recently built a tri with 4 hk401b gyro's (yes i should have gone with a controller board...) After a lot of tuning and trimming I got it flying reasonably stable. The problem is when I move the throttle stick to the max the right motor does not nearly spin as fast as the other 2 motors and the tri banks right very sharply. Before every flight I calibrate the esc's by giving max throttle, switching the esc's on, waiting for the 2 beeps and then move to min throttle. The gyro's limits are all the same. What can I do to fix the banking?

You need to limit the max throttle in your radio or just never go to full throttle. The gyros are stabilizing the aircraft by automatically adding or reducing throttle to each motor as needed. If you are applying max throttle, then how can a sagging arm be raised to level if there is no more room to add throttle.

Also, the motors and ESCs you are using are likely not electronically matched. Therefore, each will react slight different. I have a tricopter with a Wii setup that I have to command a bunch of roll when I start to lift off and then smartly take out the roll command as it gets to hovering/flying RPM. This could also be contributing to the roll at max throttle problem you are having.

Hi everyone.

I have learned very much in this web page and I'd like to show you one of my first videos with my tricopter in fpv mode.

In this fly I have a gopro 2 camera for video. Sorry, but It isn't edited and I recommend watching it from minute one.

Tricopter FPV Club Saeta (6 min 21 sec)

Regards.

I note, however, one thing ... About the FH-X46 Pro Program Board there is a manual .. as regards the MultiWii SE RTF I'm not not able to find something similar as a real manual in http://www.multiwii.com/ .. In practice, if I order the MultiWii where I can find correct information and instructions for this card?
