Unfortunately, the pilot, Siegfried Hermann, sadly died a while later in a crash, that seemed like a simple (for his standards) maneuver...

BO 105 with a fatal ending... (1 min 22 sec)

Flying skill will often but not always save you from bad judgement. Bad judgement usually takes its toll.

wasn't that crash due to a design problem with the tail rotor or something that they didnt know about until well that crash ? I think i remember reading about it a long time ago.

yea very unfortunate... test pilots and those who push the aircrafts to their limits have balls of steel, I wouldnt have the nerve to do it

This type of flying is more or less what inspires me to fly FPV the way I do.
Low, fast, between and under obstacles.

Doing risky moves at altitude with room for recovery lessen the chance of failure but do not provide the same level of excitement. Great video however!
Not a problem if your not in the aircraft.
