There are two hobby shops in Redding. Both of them don't really have much in the way of electric stuff though. Just a few lite stiks etc. One is called PTBA and it is on airport blvd and the other one is on highway 273. The shasta electric fliers meet on the first saturday of every month 9-10ish in the morning at RAMAC field. You can email me for directions if your interested.

Its an asphalt runway with a little dirt on the side for belly landings although its kinda rough. Currently most of us fly 8-10 cell size planes and parkflers. The runway is on a hill so largish planes are difficult to fly there. For those we usually fly at Ash Creek in Anderson. Come on up some time if you can.

Lower salt creek is where most of the float flying is done usually wednesday mornings. I usually have to work . I do know Al, didn't know he had a float plane. If your the owner of that cool twin I saw down in San Diego then I think I met you. Next time your up to see Al maybe we could have an impromptu float fly.
