Not sure what youean by zip zap car, this thing is as standard.
Has digital on/off steering and throttle, it runs on a tiny NiMh battery, not sure if it's 1.2 or 2.4v that charges of the transmitter.

Might try and upgrade it with the pcb from a 3ch s012 syma apache heilcopter, use one motor out for variable throttle and the tail motor up/down for the left/right. I'll have no reverse but that's ok, should be faster running on a lipo.

In that case yes it's a zip zap, it's about an inch and a quarter by two and a quarter.
Like your micro hummer, I've got one like that somewhere, it would be great if it still runs!

It will be a big project but I would like to make a motorcycle!
Prob about 3inches in length, use a model kit and fit it out with a 3ch ir helicopter pcb.

Micro-T Corvette z06

Upgrades:

Jada Corvette z06 Die Cast body
2s 350mah 20c
Atomic BB 2
Losi's 22 Chrome Street Tires/Wheels
Bearings
Various GPM Red Aluminum parts
3Racing Carbon Fiber Chassis
HR Motor cover/heat sink
Delrin spur and pinion

Debating on upgrading to 10250kv brushless, she's a garage track racer and the BB2 on 2S is plenty fast!

good work on the body awsome job !!!! and unless you have a large area i would not go over 8750 kv if you go brushless . but unless you have to i would wait on the brushless as its a pain and you dont gain much run time for the effort involved. other than not having to worry about the motor brushes going bad . and also if you go brushless you can kiss that nice body good bye as it would no longer fit .

Yeah I figured brushless is too fast for a garage race.

I just hate running AM, my antenna broke and now only get about 30' of range, I want to run a Traxxas 2.4Ghz 2218 reciever but, would have to get a seperate esc and servo, if I did that I might as well upgrade to brushless.

Funny how I've spent more money and time on this Micro RC then my 1/10 scale Rustler VXL lol.

Hey guys, thinking of ordering this lil fella from http://www.toymonkey.com/shopexd.asp?id=294

I used to have one a little like this but then my toddler got hold of it and pulled it to bits, still don't know where the left track is and it's been a year so I think it's tIme for a new micro tank.
