Dymond's Flipper - what mods, batteries etc. work the best?

I bought Radio Scrap's 9.6 volt, 1600 mah NiMh battery pack and found that it fits nicely and securely in the Flipper's battery compartment. I tried it today for the first time and set a personal record for flight time - 29 minutes. I'm sure I could have stayed up several more minutes with a little more effort, but I was just interested in some easy, relaxed gliding. Temperature was about 62* with a slight breeze. The most I ever got with the stock batteries (9.6, 600 mah NiCad) was 15 minutes.

Any of you Flipper fans have other ideas for mods, different batteries, geared setups for even better flight times?
