Rewind brush to brushless motor(HELP!!!)

I have a brush dc motor(100w) and I wanted to make it a brushless one. I started unwinding motor 60% left to unwind. When done I wanted to do a wye wiring with the winding ABCABCABC.

Will this work?

It's 12 stator(about same diameter of water bottle) and as 2 ferrite magnet(i think, there black instead of silver).

I don't understand any other windings, so I stuck with this right now.

I don't think you can just rewind a brushed motor to convert it to BLDC. In a BLDC motor the windings are stationary, allowing the power to be connected without using brushes, commutators or slip rings. In a BLDC motor the magnets do the rotating.

I think it could work 'outrunner' style. Bolt the shaft to the plane...

A standard brushed motor only has 2 magnet poles....Can you post up a picture of the motor?

He already posted - it has two magnets.

Sorry, can't use that.

The expression "wind up" springs to my mind

To make a bldc motor out of the stuff you have is possible but the learning curve is pretty long. It is way more complex then a simple rewind. Also you will need some basic machine tools, lath, drill press, etc.
The best way to start is to get a good motor theory book.

ABCABCABC won't work unless you have 8 or 16 magnets. For other windings schemes see this Winding Combination Table. A popular combination with 12 stators is 14 magnets and LRK (A-b-C-a-B-c) or DLRK (AacCBbaACcbB) winding.

For more help I recommend the RC Groups Electric Motor Design and Construction forum.
