My designs and favorite builds

I will start with my designs that have turned out well enough to be keepers..

The Superfly clone
Here is a Delta wing... KFm4 ..a clone of the Superfly.. an excellent sports flier
.
Depron Superfly 38 clone KFm4 (4 min 46 sec)

............

The ZAGNUTZ KFm4
Here is a Zagnutz type ...KFm4 ...originally with fins, now further modded with Assasin tips.. again an excellent sports flier

note with no tips end on visibility is poor.. nice bright tips help

The link takes you to the main Zagnutz thread where you will find lots more info on KF topics as well as more links the many varieties of zagntz that have been made
.
tipless KFm4 no2 (6 min 27 sec)

You may notice various Zagnutz here, or variations there of.. They are all included because they use diiferent build methods, or materials

..........
The NUTBALL

Now for a Circular design ... Goldguys Nutball... but here it is scaled up and given a KFm4 section.. such a great design.. in the small sizes it does not benifit from the KF section, best kept light.. But big and KFm4 it has become my favorite because of the relaxed way I can fly it... yet another excellent sports plane but with the best slow speed flight of all my planes
.
Nutball Low and Slow Flight using 36" KFm4 depron Nutball (6 min 29 sec)

.
Big NB build here.. https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1049935

Or for a different look an Octagonal shape works just fine

........

The NIFTY
Here is one of the simplest of all.. A KFm4 plank .. the Nifty...another excellent flier, as all of the KFm4 designs have been
.
A simple build KFm4-AR2-plank...The "Nifty" (5 min 20 sec)

........
How about a powered glider.. using a KFm9 wing section I made this pod and boom V tail glider.. It is 1.7M and has a polyhedral wing.. As usuall its a simple build and has a super glide.. A small blue wonder motor is ok to get it to height in a couple of minutes, long flight times are possible with this glider, as it thermals fine..

.
KFm9 powered glider maiden (8 min 57 sec)

The latest designs are using a "W" wing and heart shapes and they have become another one of my keepers, having the best attributes from the Nutball and the UFo in one model.. They are real easy fliers and are a pleasure ..

KFm4 "W" wing 21" heart shape Blue Wonder size Maiden High Rates (10 min 25 sec)

.........................

How about a little park flier...The D-sport is a highly capable delta for the blue wonder size of motor
specs BW motor 1300kv... 12A esc.. 8x4.5 hobbyking prop ... 3x 9gm servos .. orange rx case removed.. lipos 3s 500 or 350.. it will take an 800 but that's getting heavier.. with 500 its 8.25 oz with 350 its 7.5oz and its just a touch under 2sqft...so a loading of 4ozsqft.. my average it seems..
Thrust from the blue wonder 14oz or so.. draw 8A with this new prop
.
D-sport maiden (10 min 9 sec)
