Can't find decent charger for lithiums--help-

I would like to get a Charger for a 2 cell lithium pack but can't find anything less than a hundred bucks that will charge a 3 cell(2s1p) pack of 2100 mah (from Radical RC) at a decent rate. (I don't want to wait 3 hours)

HELP!!

Thanks,
John-

Hi John,

Here's a page that explains all this "S" and "P" business:
DataSheet

A 2S1P is actually 2 cells, and can be charged with any "2-cell" charger . We think that the E-Tec SMART chargers offer the best value (under $50) and safety in this class. The 1.5A rate will charge that pack near 100% in 90 minutes. Below is a link to see those - click on "Prices" at the top left to see all the product listings and order.

All the Best,

Radical RC's 8.4 volt pack is really a 7.2 volt nominal pack...any 2 cell charger for lithiums will work.

Even though you charge them to 4.2V, the nominal voltage for most LiPo cells is usually given as 3.7V. Thus a 2-cell pack is usually identified as being 7.4V. A few retailers may refer to a 2-cell LiPo pack at 7.2V or 8.4V. But they are really all pretty much the same, so you should consider them all to be 7.4V and not think that one LiPo cell puts out higher voltage than another.
