Good morning A6, i tried for an hour or so to load the video clip but it would just reset the page after i hit load files. I am going up again today to fly and this time I will put the Flycam on still shot and then I can put up the pic that shows the plane. oh yeah and i am bringing my loppers. so if someone knows what i need to do to the video clip let me know.

If it's as west and showery as is forecast, it'll be real active. You can walk out to the west point and launch there and fly around, but it's more fun to launch toward the west at the pole for the windsock, punch through the turbulence to the west point, climb up a bit, then head back to the big hill and base-slope it up. This is best done with larger, efficient gliders with some weight in them. -- Let us know how it went.

Have fun up there todayHoody,
Wish I could join you but I have family things to do today.

looking forward to the pics. I have always wanted to put a camera in a plane.
Dieter has one, I got to see it in action at Chandler one time.

Wind check. Wind is appears to be variable. Corvallis Airport is reporting SW, W, WNW over the past several hours. Hope you had some nice SW stretches of wind out there!

Congrulations, your recon payed off! No more lost planes at PB (for the time being). I wonder if the property owner would let us remove the backberry bushes? I would help be apart of that work party!! Or does it just take round-up?

Thanks Tom, and everything but the battery work perfectly i even did a range check to 60 passes with antenna off and no flutter A work party would be a good thing. but CrossBow would work really well on the wild stuff and not so many bloody hands.

Nah, I'm just teasing you. Looks like rain's moving in now, and there is not a lot of wind.

I just got back from a nice session here with my 3x Capp. 80F and excellent lift. It's nice to fly in t-shirt weather around the winter solstice... : )

I was ready to go but it was dead here all morning then the wind picked up in the afternoon. But along with the wind came the rain. Let's hope for some wind next weekend!

To bad that you got skunked regarding flyable weather. I am out until Jan some time because of holliday plans with the family.

Jan 1st or 2nd?

Thinking of going to PB either tomorrow or Saturday. Both days look like enough wind from the right direction, but dodging rain showers.

Any one else thinking of going?
