The little keychain camera was just taped on and landed very separate from the plane, lucky I found it at all...

I've nearly done the same thing in those conditions, after watching the vid', you may have had a chance if you stayed out of the flaps, hard to do because your really ripping when you make the turn to go back and think you need them.

Nope. -- Even without me present, there is no wind when PASS schedules combat at Peterson. That's why for years now, I've asked them to schedule that for Wednesdays, so that those who can fly only on weekends don't have to be skunked more than necessary...

"Schedule" and "slope event" should never be used in the same sentence.

Slope race march 10th 2012

Hi guys. We are going to attempt to have a slope race at PB this coming Saturday. Sorry for the late notice. Wind direction and wind forecast velocity looks good. Only a 60% chance of rain. Pilots meeting at 10:30.

Races for 48" foam, 60" glass and unlimited if we have 2 or more for each category. We need flagers and lap counters and fliers.

Dieter, does the wind crap out when they schedule Slope Races too or is it just with Slope Combat?

Just kidding Tom,
hope you guys have a good time.

We are going to break the Jinx !! DLG or electric in case it turns into a "fun fly" non-event.

Sounds good Tom. I'm thinking of heading down if the rain holds off.

Only 60% chance of rain

Does that mean 40% chance of flying?
