Myself, Tom Flyer and Creg from Seattle will be paying the Butte a visit with our extra expensive glass. Is the AldiJ ready to go?

Gee, thanks for the heads up man. Guess I'll just have to fly the Weasel bowl down here by myself today.

PB was strong, cold, and gusty today. I had to leave a bit early. Plenty of fliers there. The limit to flying was ballast and keeping warm. There were no showers or serious threats of showers between 10 am and 1:30 pm .

I actually enjoy flying more when the wind is around 15, rather than 25-30 ....

Thank you...may I have another?

Great flying at the Butte today. Air was a bit nippy, but it was the best day for me all season. Air was fairly smooth. I agree Pat, 15 mph is a much nicer pace for it's own reasons. Wind gusts got upwards of around 40 mph before we packed up and headed out around 2 pm. The rain started falling but I'm sure it cleared up later. Cold finally got to us so we called it a day. Had a great time flying the Big Ceres. Good bunch at the hill today; really enjoyed it. Creg from near Seattle joined us and got a good taste of what PB is all about.

Looks like frequent snow showers for Sunday. MM5 shows west but NOAA says SSW 10-13--I bet NOAA is more on target, MM5 sometimes overestimates the west component in the Willamette Valley lower altitudes after a front comes through. Sounds like a good RC day but requiring frequent warming breaks?! Maybe I'll leave the hang glider at home... Sure was a big turnout today! Steve
