Wind was good at the Butte today...Rain moved in mid-afternoon but not before all of us got in about 3 hrs of flying. We still had time to see the last part of the game. Congratulations to the Oregon Duck Football Team - 2012 Rose Bowl Champs!!

Yup, it was a great day. The air was a little bit turbulent still good flying and great company too.
The wind ran the gambit, from light air to(IIRC) at one point winch doc got a reading of 31 mph.
We were all packing up just as the rain started to show.

Also Congrats to the Ducks, Haven't won there since 1917, Incredible.....GO DUCKS

Thanks Pete, any suggestions to beef it up there? I am putting in HS-125MG's in the flaps and DS-368's in the ailerons and HS-85MG's for ELE and RUD. I got the glass version.

I would soak them with thin ca before trying to put the clevis in and ream the hole to fit . The fenolic that they made mine from was brittle /Dry layup it seemed and hard to fix when they break into little pieces.Only the wing horns gave me any trouble .
Mine was a carbon Electric one real nice flyer flew it at Slopefest and Petersons a few times then sold it .. I kept wanting to ds it at Js Ridge lol

One suggestion Hoody... I would use the 368's on the flaps since their a little beefier and the 125's might fit better into the aileron bays. Good luck with the build - great color scheme!

Another suggestion about the HS 125's before you install them, power them up and warm them with a hair dryer, watch & see if they hold center, mine are horrible.
