There's always enough lift for other people's planes

I'll huck it for you...

Good day @ PB

PDX Slope pilot, and Joel63 and I headed down to Peterson's Butte for our first day of the new season.
We packed a bunch of planes into mt Subaru. "Wow, I didn't think we could get all those planes in that little car"

Most importantly, we fit 'it' into the car. Poor Vic, he's had 'it' RTF for the past 2 outings we took to EB but 'it' would not fit in Joel's rig.

Wind was 10-15 for most of the morning, and tapered off in the afternoon as the rain began to start.

I took a few pix...

Good deal! Who else was there?
Apparently, antenna length matters... On mine, I route the antenna like a Z up the rudder post and out the back of the fin below the stab; but only about 6 inches stick out... : )
10-15 mph wind easily suffices at Peterson for a 5.5-pound SRTL.

Umm, what's an SRTL?

Looks like a large, heavy T-tailed mouldy?

Alex, the SRTL comes from Germany, not easy to get but worth the wait.

Not sure how it builds so much energy even when the lift is light, I think there are supernatural forces at work
