Brushless HobbyZone Super Cub with float kit and other extras - Great Shape

This listing is for a HobbyZone Super Cub that's been converted to a brushless outrunner. All it needs is a receiver and battery to go flying. It's in great shape and flies exceptionally well. This conversion makes the plane a lot lighter than stock so it's a great trainer. It also comes with a spare wing that has ailerons cut into it so you can move up to four channel control when you're ready. The spare wing with ailerons does not come with servos but a pair of 9 gram servos will do.

The brushless outrunner is a Hextronic DT750 that I rewound to 16T of 21 awg wire. This is a very efficient motor that is very well suited to the Cub. It puts out around 170 watts on a 3S lipo spinning an APC 10x5 prop. Either a 1300 or 2200 mah pack will work perfectly with the model.

The esc in the model is a Super Simple 25-30 card programmable ESC and is mounted ahead of the firewall so it gets plenty of cooling. Not that it needs it though because it's over-sized for this application. The servos are copies of the Bluebird 371 9 gram servo. Might even be the same servo with a different colored case because all the parts are interchangeable.

This model even comes with the optional float kit so it's loaded with possibilities. Also included is an extra cowl and a Hobby City transmitter strap. I've always been very happy with this model and think that is a big improvement over the stock setup. It's lighter, more powerful, and can fly longer than the stock unit. All in all, a great improvement.

I sort of feel like I'm trying to sell a family pet because this has been in my fleet for a long time and has been a personal favorite. My flying interest have really moved over to electric gliders though so I'm selling this one off to make some much needed room in my hobby closet.

My price is $85 for everything plus shipping from 24012.

I accept PayPal and USPS Money Orders.

Hi guys.

I just finished boxing this fellow up so he'll be ready to go when a buyer is found. I'd expect shipping to be about $30 so you're looking at around $110 to $115 shipped for a brushless Super Cub PNP with all the goodies. That's going to be a hard deal to beat given how versatile this plane is and how well it flies.
