If I keep up with that, then I'd never get anything at all since they're always coming up with cool airframes . I'm loving my 103" SC, but when the 100cc Slick comes, you can bet I'll be on the waiting list for that one as well.

Torn on what to get

I know this really doesn't belong in this thread but this is just a "pre-release" thread and will probably close once it's available to pre-order or when itís released.

So here is the story. Iím more than likely about to get a used trex600 helicopter which takes 6s 5000mAh 30C packs because itís at the right price and I want a big heli without using messy nitro. So Iím thinking about getting the 70Ē e-Slick since it takes the same battery but Iím tired of 5-6 minute flights and donít know if thatís enough to compete in IMAC. So a DL-30 plane looks really tempting since the motor is about the same as what you would spend on a brushless/esc combo. Or should I just try to save up and just spend twice the $$$ and get a 50cc bird????

It also doesnít help that local flyers have 50cc/100cc birds up for sale at decent prices but the only problem is they arenít 3DHS airframes or the servos arenít what I would prefer like HS-7950 or HS7955ís.

I can't make that decision for you, but I can say that I think you'll be amazed how closely the 70" airplanes fly to 50cc. Also, Jeff and Tyler just maidened Jeff's 68" Velox today with a 14 oz. fuel tank and a DLE30 and they are getting over 20 minutes flight time no issues. Pretty compelling in this size range if your goal is longer flight times and great performance.

I'll take a 72" 8s bird when they're ready. It's a perfect fit when you have a 4s extra, and an 8s t-rex!! Almost too good to be true.
