Where to Get A Quality Power Supply?

I recently got my new Orbit Pro Charger and I will be shopping for a good power supply soon. I need one that can produce 13.8 VDC at 30 amps as I plan to charge some big batteries and those are the specs that Orbit calls for. Does anyone know where to get a regulated power supply that fit those requirements. If you have url's that would be great.
Thanks Joe

Power Supply

Go to an Amateur Radio store and ask if they cell "Astron" power supplys.

Ham Radio operators have been using them for many years.

They aren't cheap but you most likely will never need to buy another one plus they maintain most of their purchase price.

Good Luck,

Pyramid makes pretty affordable ones. I just bought one at

They had pretty good prices, but I didn't surf around the 'net much. Should have went to, who I just found when researching this post. Could have saved 4 bucks! Doh!

Anyway, here's one, regulated 13.8, 32 amps, $112:

That blows away the 20 amp one they sell at Radio Shack for $130!

Power supplies

Thanks guys I like that Pyramid 35 amps and 700 watts my Orbit will love it. I tried charging from a Pyramid 10 amp and it did not appreciate it at all. It was okay for small packs but I will be charging some big packs soon.
Thanks Joe

Thread bump, server power supplies are great and can be had for 15~30 bucks. I just bought a pair for $30 shipped, they are 12V 75A (from 115Vac) and 100A from 220Vac. Look for the rcg threads on which ones to buy. My favorite are DPS-1200FB-1, and single wire on pins 33 to 36 turns them on.
