Atlanta Area Gas and Electric Power Talk

Thought I would start a thread for those living in the Atlanta area that want to talk about ALL types of propulsion systems for RC aircraft including gas, glow, turbine, electric, rubber band, etc.

The only rules for this thread are to keep it clean, somewhat on topic and friendly.

Great idea MLT. All my planes are electric right now but I am planning on doing a 3DHS 70" gas Slick this winter. I have all the components ...just waiting on the release of the gas version. Ill be doing the RB scheme on FB. Im ordering this decal package.

Ill probably give nitro a go as my dad gave me a RTF 40 size Ugly Stick and 4 gallons of fuel. Might as well burn it up....plus I think it will help meget use to the power curve differences between IC an electric before I fly the Slick.

Hey Greg that's going to be an awesome theme and the DLE 30 should be sweet on the 70" Slick. Ben said the gas version will have a "canister tunnel" so it should sound sweet.

Have you seen the video of the 68" Velox running on a DLE30?

Hey Ron here's a great project for you - runs on a DLE 30 and you can get 30 minute flights on one tank

Landon you know 3DHS is comming out with a 70" gas version of the Slick. It will run on a DLE30 and have a tunnel for a cannister. Should be sweet.
