Great job! I did a similar mod with my P-47. I managed to pick up some more of these from a vendor at an event in Indiana.

I was also pleasantly surprised to see this thread active again. I'm on vacation with the family this week and brought my P-47 with me as I have the past 3 or so years when we go away. Fits right in the back of the car on top of all the luggage.

These little birds fly so well - I've got a stash of 4 or 5 unbuilt ones that I picked up when Gravity was selling them for $13 in reserve. It would be nice if someone would pick up these molds again.

I'm using a rhino 3s 360 mah from hobby king. I've used it in the P-40, Corsair, and P-47.

Ditto. Also flies great with a 19gm
brushless motor on 2s, almost uncontrollable at 3s. This has been one of my favorite models of this series, I believe you'll be pleased as well.

And, in case you don't have the manual, here's the recommended CG.

I just put an Aileron servo in my Zero. I'm going to do some gun lights and finish the aileron mod. Trying to get it ready for the JR indoor. You attending???

Lukes RC Planes only have the Spitfire and FW left, I do believe we almost bought everything that Gravity Hobby had left, as COX was a major contributor to the beginning of our business. The cost of them are $15 plus shipping and if you are interested please call Luke at 330-550-5049 or the store at 330-448-6498. We will have them at NEAT fair next week and if we have any left we will take them to the JR.
