I have a cox corsair that i am about to start building...my question is this, i have recently aquired a totally destroyed eflite micro p51 BNF and im wondering if i cannibalise it for the motor/servo's/rx, if the small servo's and 8.5g brushed motor will be enough for the corsair? has anyone tried this?

they wont be nearly enough. if you do a really light brushless 2s setup you can use the ar6400. but other than that no, these are bigger. the average weight is around 120g. this is way to much for that little motor.

haha sorry. they really arn't expensive to get in the air. you can get 2 5g servos, a 360 2s lipo from hobby king for under $20. the 8amp speed control is around 15 shipped from bphobbies. so not too bad.

you can use an AR6400 with a small 2S battery ($4) a 6g 2S ESC ($10) and a 5g motor and you will have a very light weight warbird.

I used 2 AS2000 Servos for ailerons, but my Zero still flew great. The stock P-51 Motor will be a little week for even the lightest Gravity Warbird.

Hi,

Yes, he does, it's the receiver Four channel that I use on my micro Heli, walkera 4#3B, the brushless motor ESC provide From US, and the motor from HK.
You can see that in few days,
