New RTF Jet BlitzRCWorks F/A 18 Hornet Pro V2, 130MPH

http://www.bananahobby.com/1866.html

I am considering buying this plane as my first EDF jet. I do not have access to a paved runway at this time. I have access to an airport with low to medium cut grass. Can this jet take-off and land on grass? Does anybody have first hand experience or seen these types of jets using grass. All the videos I have seen are on pavement.

Thanks in advance to any replies.

have a look here: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show....php?t=1130838

the original brand is starmax. if you touch very very carefully it might work, but i wont trust it. i have read too much negative about this jet /cheap retracts/ESC burned/fan exploded that i cannot recommend it. i wanted to buy it myself but i did think twice.

good luck. if you decide to buy, please let us know how it goes.

for a handlaunch first timer, i suggest going with something smaller, and without retracts, or at least removable ones. i would suggest their f22, or one of the new smaller f/a 18 (250$). the jets will be hard to land on even trimmed grass without damage.

Thank you for the replies. Until I can get access to a nice paved runway, I am going to buy the F-22 Raptor V2. I have access to a large field with a smaller paved parking lot. With this plane I have the option for grass or pavement. I am hoping spare parts are easy to get.
