D80's Have Arrived!!!

I got the first batch of D80's in and they are sweet! I will be including a bib with each model to help keep it clean while you build it. I will be offering custom builds for those who would like the model ready to fly when they get it. PM for details. Here is some info on the hardware kits and accessories available for your D80.

Here is the price list for the accessory/flight packs.

Hardware kit $100
Includes horns, 2 pc wiring harness, elevator servo extension, Pre soldered control rods, plastic ball ends, steel balls for servo arms.

Flight pack $470
Includes Airtronics 94761Z elevator servo and aluminum arm pre drilled and tapped to accept metal balls that come with the hardware kit, 4 Hitec 7955TG wing servos with predrilled and tapped aluminum arms to the correct length to accept the metal balls that come with the hardware kit.

Complete package = $570
The complete package will include everything you need to make your D80 as good of a model as it can be. I have done all of the geometry and pre lengthening of all the linkages so all you have to do is glue in your servos and horns. Everything will snap into place and plug in. This will save you days of shopping around for the right stuff, figuring out the linkage, paying extra shipping for all items from various sources etc. This stuff will make your D80 a 400mph+ machine and the control surfaces will be ultra tight. You wont be dissapointed. Let me know if you want to order any of this stuff with your models via PM.

Here are some pictures. A build thread will start this week. Thanks to everyone for all the support.

Stay in it!!!!
One thing I would like to note is that since this is the first of the production run I will be assembling all models before I ship them out to ensure everything is fitting and lining up correctly. There may be some small marks from this process visible on the parts.

Congrats Joe, they look great. I remember the very first black D80 that used to disappear on the bottom turn. Youve come a long way baby! Maybe some day I'll be lucky enough to take one for a spin.

I think that's why Joe backed off! On the dive the D80 was barely visible, but it was hauling ars! You lucky pilots that are on his list, be prepared for an E-ticket ride. This is one sweet ship!

Joe thankyou very much for letting me have a few turns on the D80 today.. Very cool of you to let me have a try in such bumpy Norco.

Flew very, very well. I can tell in the few low speed laps that I had this is an awesome plane. Flew very well in the bumpy air and at only 184 max.

thankyou, thankyou thankyou!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
