Soaring with ease!
Thanks for all the insight guys!

Rotozuk (is it Wayne?) 3 won’t do me.... would leave me one short

Will go standard size for sure! I’m also going to send you a PM Stu... want to pick your brain a bit... putting together a dynamic Bee build.

I've flown and DSd a couple of other lightweight D80s as well. They fly just fine on the front, go plenty fast if you fly them aggressively at that weight, and land incredibly slow.

I don't know that making them any lighter is useful, but who knows? I do agree that an airfoil change is not going to happen, though.
What did you find to be “different in reality”? Curious

Initially I remember reading that the plane couldn’t fly slow, or land easily, or DS fast unless it was loaded up. I found that it flies great at even 125 oz, will turn tight and go fast. And low speed handling is without bad habits. Great plane IMO.

Agree with above. Having flown 3 different D80s at varying weights, they seem great at all of them, if flown in appropriate conditions

Could somebody let me know if the wing is exactly 80" long. I'm going to have to run it corner to corner in my 6' bed truck and don't have any room to spare.

Thanks.

I’ll be there Saturday picking my new one up from Wayne. Did you get the white one Pinepig? I bought the red one.

Pinepig you got the last one!

Just a heads up to you all, the factory is making changes and moving to a new location. We do not know when we will be getting in more Dynamics.

Thanks.
I have the 6 foot bed on my Tacoma and it fit with room to spare in a wingbag

Yeah, this is to keep me from sacrificing a F3F bird to the DS gods.
