Hello,
I'm not sure where you got the $600 price from, that is not correct. Street price should be around $199 for the full version with the controller, and $79 for those that already own G3 or above.

Hi, I'm sorry but you've mis-read something. The Tower price for the complete package is $199.98

http://www.towerhobbies.com/products.../gpmz4440.html

This includes the software and controller. Controllers are not available separately. To access a multi player session, typically you will just allow the system to look on the internet for available sessions, by joining one of these sessions you are quickly connected to several other G5 users.

I hope this helps.

I won't have access to broadband. Can I use the combat mode in "single player" mode??

Can't you also link a normal TX to the included controller and do spit screen? I know it worked on G4? If it does work will it work on combat?

You'll be able to fly and shoot, but you won't have other aircraft to dogfight against. You could do the split screen mode on the same computer.

thanks and one last question.

If I shoot by myself offline, would i be able to see that i hit something like a building, or will the shots just go off into space???

Thanks again,

Jeff

Hi Jeff, you can certainly see where you hit. The building is not actually effected (walls won't fall done or anything like that), but the rockets explode , tracers hit the walls, and the paint splats!

Steve
