Hobby City/ Hobby King FPV setup- thoughts?

http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...nch_CCD_camera

Since it doesn't come with glasses, it doesn't seem like that great of a deal...any thoughts on the reciever? What kind of range can one expect?

Sorry if this has been discussed. A search didn't turn anything up...

Looks like some OK equipment at first glance... But there is no real specs on the transmitter, which is quite important. It looks like it wont be more than 10mW, so range will be limited. The camera looks a lot like a kx131... But they've got the idea right, and the pan/tilt mount looks good - wonder if they'll sell that seperate?

I've played with similar transmitters before, you can do about 300 meters or so with the stock setup.

Hmm...passable but not great.
Is it easy to boost the range?

Maybe, the antenna is just a little 2 inch wire, I think I've seen some info on extending it and getting a little more range at http://www.rc-cam.com/

I'm sure that as usual a directional antenna on the ground could double the range.
