I mounted mine on top of the tripod so it is at eye level

Just needs some glare protection

Where did you find that big plastic cargo box to mount it in?

That plastic shade you made is exactly what I plan on doing

I like flying with this monitor

I have read through the threads on goggles and there seems to be an abundance of issues with them

So I am happy with this monitor

I also like the fact you can power it off a lipo, I bought the ready made connector from DPCAV

I removed the LCD screen and electronics from the TV case and hard mounted them to the tool box lid.

I got mine online for $119 with free shipping. It was $129 but when i put in my zip they knocked $10 off....sweet
