I picked up a LCD volt meter from ebay with an led backlight for about $8 for my ground station. Still working on it but pics to come soom. Where are you buying your zagi's from? Jett are you using an oracle diversity set?

not to to take us too far off topic, but you are obviously set up on an AMA sanctioned field. How are you getting around the draconian FPV rules that the AMA set?

I wish I had such a compact groundstation ;-) Here's my monster:

With a good receiver it sould be fine for maybe 50miles... More than I ever can fly!

Downeym,

When I fly at an AMA field, I follow thier rules. I have a trainer cord setup and let lots of people try to fly FPV with my planes, so its never a problem finding someone to be the spotter and the other fly the plane

the tripod comes with a quick removable attachment... just screw it to the bottom of the box and it goes on and off with a simple latch
