Question....should i add in any inline fuses for safety at all? I think I'm going to run a main power line to a distribution block and then run individual switches off of that to each component....

Here is my newest GS.

Pelican style case


Simple clean install, not fancy, but very functional.


7" Haier LCD


Behind the top cover are the 2 rx's. Signal and power come through a Cat5 cable. 2 5.8ghz rx's shown. Can be swapped out with any 900, 1.2, 2.4 rx.


SMA pigtails extend the antenna connection to the top of the case.


Aiptek DVR, MyVu Crystal control box, Aux RCA connection, power switch and voltmeter.


Under the bottom cover shows the Cercom Diversity unit (works great), 7ah SLA battery, MyVu crystal video glasses case, case for 1.2 CP set, case for 5.8 rx's and CP set, 900mhz rx set.


900mhz rx set, ready to use with Cercom diversity via Cat5 connections.

Yes, cuts done on the mess of wires!

@acuralegendz- Looking good! Glad to see more and more people are using the Harbor Freight cases. I used it for my first GS about 2 years ago and seems the have become very popular since then. Cheap and effective!

This is in addition to a 15" led hdtv on a tripod.
In the upper left you can see the 2.4ghz gear I will be upgrading to, the tx might be a different one, still in the mail...

You guys using Ethernet cable, do you double up on the wires for power? They seem pretty thin.
