@ Martin... Yagi, DiPole.... She can play with whatever she likes!

@ JettPilot... OIIII - isn't it YOUR Videos on the home page of JMSTECH? Showing off your UHF long range flights on the big screen, while YOUR rather attractive partner sits alongside trying to steal your attention...... all while your plane is cruising 4 miles out!!? hehe.

I'm busy redoing my ground station, and the part that worries me about my work is that.. to split power, I have one 12V input, then solder loads of wires off the main input wire, which go to the recorder, splitter, video Rx etc etc. Is there a power splitter thing I can buy that has one input, and you can 'Connect' outputs?

I use terminal strips and jumpers.

I use "deans" to split up my power.

that way it is more plug and play for each component

Use one of these:
http://www.dpcav.com/xcart/product.p...cat=103&page=1
connected to one of these
http://www.dpcav.com/xcart/product.p...cat=103&page=1
Which is soldered to a deans which will go to the battery...

They should plug in to the RX, Oracle, etc.
This is my plan. Nice clean looking. Hopefully.

Can you maybe show how you're doing this? I just ordered 10 deans plugs.

Questionable judgement

I made my own "octopus" plug by soldering a few barrel plugs to a lead ending in a male deans plug. Those 12 volt barrel plugs are common so you might find some lying around unused.

Everything has a deans plug for power.

I made an octopus connector as well but out of deans.

I'll probably go with the 'deans for all' option, but ... do you solder all the wires to one deans? (All the grounds to one pin, and all the positives to the other) Or do you have one wire off the 'input' deans, and then solder all the outputs to one point off that wire?
