OSD onboard the plane reads the GPS coords and sends them to a module on the ground through the audio channel of your video tx, module on the ground grabs that info and drives servos to aim the antenna towards those GPS coords

Yes, that avitar is the best thing to be put in this forum for a long time There is a risk to it though pratorian, if you ever take away that avitar, your inbox will be filled up with PM's demanding it be resotred

Actaully, the subject of video antennas is right on topic for this thread, as it is one of the most important parts of the ground station. I am glad to see lots of input an discussion on this here.

Sometime not all the time, people call peolple "trolls" or "derailer's" because they have nothing to add other than insults.

To me anyways it is one of the "weakest" ways to derail a thread lol

Derail a thread, thats been done many times, old stuff... The picture is acutally showing up in so many threads now, I think Pratorian will be the first person to ever succeed in derailing an entire forum
