Cool Mike!!

The kits are set up for pushrods. Modifying it for pull-pulls wouldn't be hard if you chose to, but the CG is perfect with the rods.

I ordered my MX2 on sunday and I cant wait to get it so that the building can begin. I read through the online manual and it loooks like a really fun build. Just wondering, how long is each of the ETOC freestyle sequnces supposed to be? (ex: each of the XFC freestyle sequences are supposed to be 4 min.)

ETOC freestyles are limited to 2 minutes... not much time to meet the criteria!

Tony, I use the Mamo Models system. You can order it from www.airlandseahobby.com . They're the only ones importing them anymore.

My VPP setup is posted several places in the thread. Basically you need the Mamo Models VPP system and a Hacker A20-34S motor.

I have a couple of futaba S3114m with the micro connctor laying around that I was going to use in my MX2. I wanted to buy the spektrum AR6300, does anyone know if the futaba connector will fit into the spektrum reciever?

For VPP, you need to use the A20-34S. The A10-9L will not mount to the VPP unit.

For normal flying, I suggest the A10-9L.

No, they do not. Though they look similar, they are not the same connectors. You'd need to change the connectors to use the Spektrum receiver, or use the Futaba receiver with the correct plugs.

Actually RJ, I did some experimenting with the futaba JST connectors on a satelite reciever off my AR9100. If I am not mistaken, those are the same kind of JST plugs that spektrum uses for their AR6300. I was able to get the futaba conector in there, though it did take some moving around to do. Also, there was a gap between the futaba connector and the inside of the plug, though the fit was tight.
