i have a eflight s75 on the aielrons of my osiris and it dosent center very well but it does seem to have the power to give em plenty of throw. the way i look at it is how often do i fly straight and level in a tiny basket ball quart anyway, so i dont really worry about servo centering.

No, we've all used Hackers, but that setup should work just fine on the MX2!

Thanks for the feedback, I think I'm going to use the hacker anyway because it is cheaper. I haven't been able do find anyone that sells the x-5 esc though. Any input on where I might be able to buy them?

Aero-model has them, the US Hacker distributor. Try www.aero-model.com .

Not quite, those are called Spades. They serve several purposes... simply put, they act as both counterbalances for the ailerons and small side-force generators.
