Tip- manual says start cg 1" fwd of canopy, got about 30 packs on mine, I think 0"fwd is much better. 1" is pretty far fwd and dowbt many would like it there. Bad gouge.
rest.
great bird! ailerons are very very powerful, have some problems keeping gear glued straight, could be because i land on blacktop.

Think ill stick w epp next time, as depron is just a little too stressful.

These planes really serve an entirely different purpose than depron. Simply put, these are not designed to crash (but they do repair easily).

While a foamy, i dont think was intended for bashing; it is highly precise and light.

In regards to the landing gear, if flying outside the best way to avoid abusing your gear is to catch it out of the air in a close hover.

I have a little question please, I see you use a very powerfull vpp plane with only one servo for the ailerons. I would like to know what is your solution to make the hinges and control horn strong, because I have a lot of problems with that, every time I use reverse pitch, do manuever with the elevator and live the aileron servo at the neutral position, I break the hinges or the control horns !
Thanks.

Now we are using a small Dubro hinge at the root of the aileron to hold everyhthing together nicely and then using glass over the top of each hinge to really hold everything together

I attached a picture of how I did it on my mini MX.

Thank you !

Also its hard to tell but there is 1/2 oz glass cloth over each side of the hinge set with Zap foam safe CA. It cures slower than the bsi glue I use for everything else.

For the control links we use T-Rex 250 ball links.

Hey iloveflying.... I designed a mount that works perfect for this set up and avoids that issue. Let me know if I can help, I am working on a thrust vectored mount as well Check out the site for pics... and if you could post pics of your issue this would help others!
Thanks
John
