it's all balsa,if i were to do it again i would use basswood for the keel as small as it is i broke it 3 times before i got all the bulkheads and stringers on.tom

thanks guys.this is built from the plans that pat tritle designed,it is 27" long with a 8" beam. tom

Looking good!! This will help me as I've got the plans and Im ordering the wood tonight. Hope to start soon. We may have to start a Yoda's Ark Club. I noticed you went with a single shaft instead the twin setup on the plan. How did you manage that with the keel? The keels too small to drill a hole into it. Can you post a picture, I'd like to go with a single motor also.
