With all these goodies in the nose ,You will have to counter weight her anyhow to achieve right CG.
You still will need a balsa spacer to widen the tail a little for servo to fit.
Yuri, who hates tail servos in the fuse.
The tail at its widest point is 3mm.

Viper Aileron

Okay, making more progress on the build:
https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/member.php?u=206818

Took about two hours to get one aileron perfect. The next one should go faster now that I have a good approach.

I also have the power system in. Initially I will be going with the NEU1110-1Y, CC125 and 4S-2600-35C. With the firewall set back (into) the fuse a bit more than normal, I'm hoping my spinner has enough bite on the prop shaft.

sbritton,
you should of not cut so much of the servo recess away & left an edge round it. you then cut down the cover so it fits in the recess not just stick the uncut cover over the outer skin.

Mark: Thanks for the pics...I can't believe I didn't think about that. Well, it's not too late, I can build up the lip a little on each edge to get it to fit better later.

I like how you did the aileron linkage on yours better that what Stratair suggested...seems like a cleaner install with less cutting involved. In fact I was considering doing the same with an adjustable clevis. Given that I'm not doing competition flying, what I ended up with should be sufficient.

I am going to have to mount the servo covers 'backwords' so the arms won't hit the cover.

Viper Elevator

Well, made some good progress and have the elevator done. Took a bit trial and error, but have a nice solid slop-free elevator.
