16/30/1.5S or a 16/35/1.5RE or so for 6S 4.7x4.7

Depends on what prop you want to spin.

Has anyone here ever tried tape across the top of a battery pack instead of velcro?

I took the velcro out of my fuse, and it is so much easier to get the battery in and out.

I know some dudes use the tape across the top method with sailplanes, but I wasn't sure id it is safe with a model llike this.

It feels very secure.....

Ok, I was trying painters tape. Seemed to hold really well.

Yes, that's pretty much standard practice in F5B models since there's usually no room for velcro.
I do the same on F5D models also.

Battery held great with two strips of painters tape.

Now everything fits comfy, no compromising wires.....

The smallest 5S 2250mah on the market.... I believe.

It is the smallest I could find, and leaves absolutely no room in the fuse.
