I hope to be there. It'll be my first event or second if I can make it to FSS #6. I'm moving around that time.

Would you like to set up a very informal Dinner for Saturday night.
There are now quite a few nice restaurants in the Oviedo area that have ample seating for a large group of us.
If there is enough interest I will work on it.
This would not be associated with the contest...just friends getting together.

I like the idea, but our experience has been that even with groups of five or six we almost always had to get on a waiting list to be seated during Saturday evenings at restaurants around the Colonial Drive & Alafaya Trail area. It doesn't seem likely that any of those restaurants would be willing to reserve space ahead of time for a large group like us while they're that busy.

But if you know of a restaurant within a reasonable distance that would be willing to accommodate us, and you'd be willing to make arrangements with them ahead of time, I'm all for it.

Well Mike,
Lets see how much interest we have and then let me work on it.
Its got to be easier than growing Oranges.

I believe everyone will be full of BBQ by Saturday night.
Amigo's sounds good except for the drive home with a belly full of mexican food and beer.
Rusty, is there anything closer to where you live. That would be a good central location for us.

If you pick a place within the next week we can check it out on Saturday evening, November 7, after the first day of the FSS #6 contest.

There is a nice little Mexican resturant in Oviedo in the shopping center across from Woody's. I eat there frequently and the food is good (and they have beer and good margaritas!). They are seldom very full and could probably accomodate the group.
