Mmmm, looks like foam is smoother on this one than the rest of the PKZ line. A sign of things to come?

I can't make any comparisons to competitive planes, it's deemed to be overcompetitive so I edited this post.

This lends credibility to Prof100's suggestion:

I think you're right on... this is almost certainly their target.

It looks like it might be a little smaller and a little cleaner aerodynamically (though it's hard to tell, of course). It will almost definitely have lighter wing loading...those wings look a tad oversized...which is probably a good thing even if it knocks off a few mph.

It seems like the Stryker C matches up with the Funjet pretty well (though the Funjet is the king)... I wonder how this match up will shake out.

So Dave, is this a sign of a move upward in skill level for Parkzone?

YES!! The more you make these things accessible and cheap to those of us who like to build with our preferred electronics, and preferred paint job, the more publicity and continued visibility you will generate for your product to others who would rather buy it premade. It's win-win.

Rain or shine, wind or calm
To be able to buy the airframe for $80-100 would be ideal. It would be nice to have a Z-foam edf that you could get replacement parts for.

Actually, I think selling the airframe with motor/fan unit/ESC would be a better idea, because I know of people that don't like the stock parkzone servos.

I will be waiting for this one too.
My SAPAC T45 foam Goshawk is getting long in the tooth.
Great flying plane though. Extremely stable.
Ready for something faster!

That would just be repeating the mistake made on the E-flite F-16. When it comes to motors and fans, there are already lots of good choices, and people who already know what they want, and want to use what they are already familiar with. (for example: Having to buy an included motor&fan that I don't want is the only thing that has held me back from buying the Sapac F-16.)

Good point. you know they offer an E-Flite F16 airframe, right?

I would just do it in a sport jet finish, white overall with similar stripes in high contrast colors.

The silver impregnated Zfoam makes the T28 USAF scheme very hard to see. I have no problems as I have flown camo scale aircraft for years, but the high contrast Edwards bird in my avatar(with dark orange as 'scale effect' red) gets specific comments at the field at how easy it is to see...
