Traditionally rctimer.com site is slow like snail. Its beyond me why they dont invest a small fraction of money they are earning to add more resources to that server/hosting they are renting.

Not healthy for business

first time I bought from rctimer, and hate to say it, but it's been longer than HobbyKing. Been running now into the 3rd week and nothing

I paid to get the tracking and it's now been 3 weeks going into 4th and all it shows is that it made it to new York, but nothing after that.

oh yea...their site just shows a bunch of garbage

Sadly, lots of items coming out or China is held up or not arriving at all. I think it has something to do with the raising tension between the US and China, I hope, no I seriously hope I am wrong.

Well Aug 8th was when their S800 clone was supposed to drop. Just a little coincidental me thinks.

hey rctimer folks,

Do you guys have ETA when your site will be fixed? (just getting 500 errors)
I didn't save the tracking number and need to get back on the site to retrieve it.

Unfortunately, I still haven't receive the stuff I ordered many weeks ago.
How long before you guys will do a trace on the goods?

nope. still get the 500.
starting to not like rctimer a whole lot. (my first order there)

unfortunately, they're the only one I could find that still carried the old shaft and shaft adapter for the old Turnigy motors.

my cub has been grounded going into the 4th week now waiting for these parts.
oh well, I guess patience is of the virtual.

Works with Firefox. Just plain rctimer.com used to not work when www.rctimer.com worked. Perhaps try the www

the site is unreliable. It works but then drops out with 500 on some pages. I was able to get to it most of yesterday.
but thanks. Just tried it now, and it was enough for me to get the tracking number.

unfortunately, tracking still shows New York....nothing else.

I hate the RC Timer web site with a purple passion!

It's organized okay, I can find stuff. But it constantly goes down. And when it goes down, it loses my shopping cart.

I mean, why can't it act like every other web site and just keep my shopping cart in a cookie or something. Even if the site doesn't go down, I lose my cart if the phone rings or I have to help one of my kids with something and leave the computer for 5 minutes, the cart is empty when I get back.

It took me SEVEN tries to get a cart full of the items I wanted and place the order. Refinding 20 items seven times was a HUGE waste of my day.

RCTimer needs to grow a brain and fix their site. I almost abandoned my order altogether. If I put stuff in a cart, it should stay there indefinitely until I either order it or remove it!

It's just bad business to empty your customers shopping cart every few minutes. Dumb really. Epic dumb.

Butter thumbs...
I've never managed to get the site working on Google Chrome. Even when it was up, it would send you back to the front page regardless of what link you clicked. Was working with IE for a while but now nothing at all. Hence I've never had the confidence to place an order despite being very tempted at times. Think I'll stick with the likes of HobbyKing for now, 51 orders and no issues so far.

How does a business that's been around for more than 2 years and sells exclusively on the internet not have a website that works?

That's a good question.

I just pray the're still in business because I placed an order and I need the goods badly for a project.

The problem with HobbyKing is they rarely have anything I need in stock.

No it's not. Again.

I think it is just a server problem. I placed a couple of orders with them and I am very happy. It was shipped the next day and the last order arrived in 7 days from China. I have another order on its way and it left the origin country already. Looks like I get it in 4 - 5 days.

RCTimer, please fix your website!
