The main shaft is a bolt in.

The tail shaft will not work unless you shim it or replace the whole tail box with Align.

What I did on the inter shaft is take the clone and an Align set and put the Align pulley on the clone shaft and used the clone metal blocks. The clone pulley isn't very true and round.

Or you can just use the the entire Align set with the plastic blocks.

When I was trying to use the black belts and the metal boom block it ate bearings like crazy on the inter shaft, but with kevlar belt and a plastic boom block it's been a lot better. Probably because I don't need to run the belt as tight. With the stock clone set up I could never get the belts to stay tight and in one or two packs it was so loose it would slip. So I would tighten again and again and again and again.

It's been fine since the Kevlar belt replacement.

Yup. That is the one.

They have a lot of stuff for Gaui and Trex. It's a good place to deal with I get a lot of parts from them.

www.flying-hobby.com is another good one.

Giant Cod sell some HK250GT spares. Not the full range like Hobby King. Still cheap like HK though.

Yeah, well you can't get a Kevlar belt from them, and some HK250 spares are a waste of time money and effort. You are better off with a Trex part.

I agree some HK parts are crap. I was really pointing out to a fellow UK resident that some HK parts are available cheaply here. We pay a hell of lot for stuff here so 53 pence for a pair of tail blades isn't to be sniffed at.

Also Sonix stuff for the 250 is good value and decent quality.

Not all of it is bad, just some of it is horrible and you are better off with an Align part.

Seeing as I'm catching up in this forum I though I'd post a few pics of my 250. I've tidied the heli up a little since taking these pics.

Becareful. That little bugger is a wire eater if you don't secure those wires far enough away from the motor or main gear.
