F5D Teams for World Champs 2010

If I understand things correctly so far there are only 7 Pilots from 3 countries that have booked their seats for Muncie.

Canada

Roy, Randy and Delbert. Full team

Germany

Marcel and Dirk with 5 possible pilots competing for the 3rd spot in 2 weeks.

UK

Rob and Darron with 2 possible Pilots competing for 3rd this weekend.

Do any other countries have pilots selected yet?

As a foot note we have launched a Twitter link on our site. The plan is over this weekend I can send back Pics from the practice day starting tomorrow and the racing day with results as they happen Sunday. You can either visit the site to see the info or follow directly through your own Twitter Account. If it all goes well we will make it a regular feature for next year and at the World champs. www.f5d.co.uk let me know what you think.

We don't need selection as we have so few F5D pilots. I believe everyone wanting to go can do so

Unfortunately we don't need a selection trial either, no one in OZ is flying F5D, We do look like having a very competitve F5B team trial though.

We have ( for the first time ) 4 possible pilots this year: Nick Vaes, Sébastien Maes, Willy Verschoren, and Daan Nies, so I hope that we get a complete team this time !

Are you planning of making the Trip with a few fellow Pylon guys. Perhaps Sam?

Uk F5D Team

The UK team is now selected, and we will be sending off the details to the BMFA for approval next week.

Rob Ashley-Roche
Darron Rodrigues
Olli Witt (Junior currently)

Now we just need a Team manager to try and keep us in order

Finns...

Me and Samuel are about to receive some new D05:s soon. We are currently planning to participate in the WC with Antti. For me that would be great, since those guys are so good...
I´ve flown mainly jets for 2 summers now. Antti´s really trying to get us there!

Well you know me and Samuel, we can do anything anytime! We are really impulsive guys. But seriously, If this works out at all, I´d be happy to participate. Just have to finance it and practice like hell. A lot that is.

This is Good stuff, I will add you guys to the list I am putting together for our web site listing all the teams and Pilots as they are announced it should be live at the weekend.

I suspect this will be by far the best F5D WC. The fact that Germany will be pushed all the way will make it an exciting event coupled with the excellent American hospitality and weather is going to make it a fantastic week.

If we make sure it is reported well I hope that it will do a lot of good for F5D and raise its popularity everywhere.
