Post your full size autogyro pictures, for model building and flying inspiration.

Hi Guys,

I've started this thread to serve as inspiration for creativity and ideas of Autogyro models, I hope we see Dngo's Dad's work here.
I'll start with one of my favourites, the Avro Rota, the British license built Cierva C30.
Thanks to Matt Woolner and RAF Museum Hendon for this fine study.

Cheers,

Regards Al

Hi Al,
Here's one I'm suprised nobody has done yet. Actually I take that back, I think the sport scale version of this was AcoA's Soda Puppy. This is the North American Rotorwerks "Pitbull".

That Pitbull is one of the ones I had seen a model that reminded me very much of it. I will have a look for a couple of old favourites now. There was a couple of rippers made in the US in the early years, that will probably never be repeated.

A couple of the old girls

These two inspired a lot of people to Gyro's. They were both registered aircraft as opposed to Sport aircraft. Perfect for Modelling in my opinion.

Another classic was the Windryder produced in America by McCutcheon. I couldn't find a decent pic to put up, but a google will show plenty. They were well ahead of their time being the first all composite machines around.
