videos indoors.. KFm2 biplane on 2s then 3s..
the model needs some adjustment on thrust angles and COG, its nose heavy here.. with no angles for thrust..
AUW on 2s is 248g and on 3s its 261g

trimming flight using 2s
24 inch kfm2 trottel biplane from 8mm EPP...TRIMMING (5 min 10 sec)

3s flight.
24 inch kfm2 trottel biplane from 8mm EPP 3S 450 (5 min 3 sec)

now coloured

KFm3 document

This document was just published in December of 2019. It shows very favorable characteristics of the KFm3 airfoil.

I just got an UMX ultrix , and that got me thinking... about my next project.

how about a 24" KF version from 8mm, using a CC3D atom for wing stabilisation, and a mix setup for differential thrust..total area 277"sq....

parts ...
1 full wing, 1 KF wing layer, 2 full fuz, 2 nose addons+1 fuz addon layer behind step, 8 motor nacelle layers

Thread OP
Don't worry about it Pop.eye, it won't hurt a thing.

Looking forward to a video of your test flight or flights. I love flying platforms like the Hummer II for their special tricks and uses.

If it flies well and looks like it has the stability for it, it might be a splendid camera platform or meet some other special need.

Don't sell it short, give the addicts a build thread and use that as the venue for all the videos if if looks like it deserves it!

Have a look at these clouds. 🤨 On Saturday I will drive with my RV to Portugal and I hope, the weather will be with me. 😊

This is a coroplast wing, it will get a kf2 (50% or so on top) the step will probably be dollar tree and colored packing tape. Leading edge and hinges will be extreme packing tape. Its 26 span 15 sweep 7 tip chord 22 center line (measurements from memory but close I think posting from my phone) 3 x 2mm carbon rods evenly spaced. I'll make some center fuse with rear motor mount. I got bored and starting cutting stuff.

Just bought an Ultrix too. Couldn't resist after seeing the videos, my kind of flying machine.

Sure is fun with the torque steer feature. Be interesting to see how to program that in a scratch version.

I like your take on the Pizza Box Flyer, a twin with ailerons and elevator. Very clever. Now, if you can just program in the torque steer feature.
