1987 and a bit of KF history - the first manned flight.

Dick Wood... he is the man who first flew a KF stepped airfoil. This video took place in Canada.

Silly question but considering how ultralights don't need to be super fuel efficient since they are generally recreationally flown wouldn't a KF airfoil be an ideal wing. High lift and gentle stall sound like big safety features in this area. Or is it commonplace and my comment is years behind?

Thanks Dick
That was a great risk taken. What was the final outcome of the testing?

Mark... Dick Wood wrote an article about his experiences with the KF.
If you give me your email address on a private message in the RC Groups, I will send you the article which is on about five document pages.

Culver Dart aka Monocoupe Monosport G

I reactivated my old KFm 2 Culver Dart and turned it into a Monocoupe Monosport G, which was the original design by Mr Mooney.

How about a Solar KF airfoil aircraft.

An amazing experiment that works quite well....

I'm amazed that they fly so well and they stay in one piece, I would probably have trouble not laughing at them while flying,
PLEASE let us know where we can get plans and specs

The plans and a Depron -Parts - Kit for the P38 Fatty are now available, also an optional vac formed canopy.

Kit, just the Depron parts, the plans are not needed, all parts are numbered and positions are marked on the parts

PDF Buliding instructions, at the time german only, but lot of photos

Next Model will be the Corsair Fatty, offered in a few days I think, the PDF instructions are available
