As for building instructions, you may want to "brush up on the basics" by taking a look at Oleg's website. http://olgol.com/TabooGT/ It's for a different plane, but a lot of the basic construction techniques are the same. Once you get your planes, you can then go through both set's of instructions and determine what works best for what you want.

I'll be building my first new DLG with metal pushrods in etched teflon guides. Balsa (or maybe CF) ramps for additional support where needed, etc. All the used planes I've bought have been set-up that way. I have a better idea for how to do that than I do the possible pitfalls of a Pull-Pull set-up.

New guy with TopSky's questions

Thank you - I'll start with Oleg's site - I've heard it recommended several times now - so there must be a lot of agreement on his approach. I don't know if pull-pull setups are favored by most or not - my understanding is it saves weight on the tail area, but that setup is a bit delicate. I'll search on the internet and see what I can find. Thanks again for responding.

Jun, Mike, George and Charlie are all going to donate one of our DLG’s after the 2013 World DLG competition is over to help get the raffle sales rolling. Jun is pretty sure he will be donating a Stoble-V3. Mike is offering whichever Concept X2 or X3 has the least wear and tear in his collection. George and I will both be donating a Concept also. I am not sure if George will be donating an X2 or an X3 but I do know that I will be donating an X2. It is important to point out that all of these DLG’s will be used and they may or may not be in “like new” condition. All of these will have made the trip to Denmark and back and will all (with the possible exception of mine which actually made the trip to Sweden in 2011) very likely have been flown in the competition. The radio's will not be included (the exception here is that Mike will include the Spektrum receiver if the winner is planning to use a Spektrum radio) Mike will also give the model program to the winner of his Concept if the winner is using a Spektrum/JR radio.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support!

Thanks, man. I appreciate it. I've been working a decent bit lately, so I haven't taken the time to copy what's in my dad's radio. I'm sure that'll get me going in the right direction to get the Blaster back in the air.

C'mon man, others need a Concept too!

Just played the raffle - kudos to the webmaster, a very nice website.
