Like Charlie! 30" plus draw.

I am over 6ft but only get about a 28" draw by Lee's calcs. No wonder Charlie can throw high

Launch high. Fly low.
This is actually an issue that I found out the first time I shot something. I'm right-handed but left eye dominant.

Also there most Saturday mornings with the club, so just check when a good day for you comes up.

Check your eye dominance to decide which bow to shoot. It has very little to do with being right-handed or left-handed.

Lee, if I get early reserve and don't get called tomorrow I'll be there... (ummm, where is "there"?)

Charlie, ~ 30.75" draw length...
Paseo Vista park at McQueen and Ocotillo. It's where G-man and I play disc-golf.

I'll try to be there by 4pm if I am not working. I am right handed and right eye dominant. I will drag out my old compound but it may be to much for me to pull.

I can also grab a club bow in the 16-22 pound range. This would only be good for shooting 10-20 meters, but you can develop/regain your form.

We can also turn your compound bow down to a lower DW. If it's recent technology the limb bolts adjust the draw weight.

It's a mid 80's compound but I cannot remember the draw force at the moment. I'll clean it up and see if I can find the handbook. ;-) I should have several arrows and I'll try to find the target tips. It can't have too much draw as it was my fathers and he was never over 140lbs soaking wet.

Well, that was a great time, thanks Lee!

I tried both of Lee's bows but they were a little too much draw force. Most of the evening I used a club recurve bow that was 26lb @ 28" of draw so I was probably pulling closer to 28lbs. We spent most of the time shooting targets at 30m. Not too sore this morning...

Anyone flying on Sunday? I started scrapping the Blaster back together, just so I could have something to fly. I'll have to do some programming, but other than that, it's darn near ready to go!
