I have been discussing this plane with a friend and he believes the 10 AMP ESC will not last with the recommended digital servos. So, what is your opinion??

Don't use digital servo's. There's really no need for them in a model such as this. If you use a separate BEC then I guess any 8g servos (HS55 for example) will be fine.

Nice plane, and not a million miles off scale. Its crying out for matt varnish though. The gloss finish really smacks you in the face

Err, E-Flite S60s are analog servos. They're not the most reliable servos I've ever used, but that's why you pick up E-Flite S75s, or Hitec HS-55s instead and eat the eight grams of total weight penalty. The E-Flite 10A ESC's BEC will run four analog sub-micro servos until the end of time.

We fly with a similar setup all day long in the 4-Site, a 3D aerobatic foamy that works the servos and hence the BEC a lot harder than this L-4 ever will, even with only 3 servos in the 4-Site.

10 amp E-flite ESC

Hey guys the E-flite 10 amp ESC will run the analog eflites or the spectrum digitals with no problem. We have it listed with the spectrum digitals because the flight pack we sell with the AR6300 and 4 S60's is the ideal setup for the plane.

The little plane flies really well and handles just like a larger cub.

We should have a video up by tomorrow

Thanks

Boy E-flite just keeps'em coming dont they? Whew, yet another must have plane comes our way.

Wow.

I can attest to Eflite's ESC's having THE best and most robust BEC there is, bar none. I trust them 100%
