Just received most of my stuff for my new Corona and started adding up the cost- YIKES!!! This $200 heli is gonna cost me $1200. If you're wife thinks you spent too much just tell her I got $985 in my Heli -No TX or Charger and I don't have anything out of the boxes yet. I'm sure ther will be more small stuff. Just thought I'd share and I'll keep you posted if I ever get this thing flying. Thanks!!

No accounting of how much anything actually cost...

However, this much I can tell -- luckily my venture into helicopter-building made efficient use of many earlier systems & components (more than one existing & crashed airplane model). Any attempt to sum it up with a modicum of precision... is pre-destined to fail.

It's not cheap... that is for sure. But the total building cost of my Eolo, transmitter upgrade and gyro included... now let me think... should hardly exceed 650 €, with a large margin of error in both directions.

I guess that in matters of price, much depends on what can be re-used... or employed in parallel for many models (batteries, chargers, transmitters, receivers).

Yeah part of the reason it is so high is I bought everything new and spared little expense. New RX, X-tl, servos, Batteries , Connectors, HH Gyro, Astro BL and controller, All black blades and spares, Carbon fins, and Carbon Tail boom/bearings- Concept body, 2-voyager gears,Whip antenna,Training gear. Even if I had something her I bought it new just to know at the end. I know you could spend alot more too! Sure beats wasting it at the casinos though huh?

Where did you get your JR gear from? Everyone I checked was out of stock.

Even buying new at full retail that really sounds high. Now if you got a nice computer TX, that is great, but don't blame the poor little Corona!
