Damaged on arrival Spitfire Nitroplane

Is this repairable? It's a brand new Nitroplane Spitfire. I hate UPS. They always do damage to my package.

Well if you live close by in Pa , I coudl help you fix it .
My problem with this is that its near a very important part of the plane and that is the incertion for the elevator . The repairs need to be meticulos in that the final product is even and will not change the tail incidence .
I would start will start with sanding all the paint off the damage tail area so you can see the damage and then we can take it from there .

This is the second time UPS has damaged my plane. Last month, my Easy Star from Towerhobbies had a crushed fuselage. Now this. Looks to me like the UPS boys are throwing packages around without regard. The box was clearly labeled "Fragile." I hope Nitroplane will let me exchange for another fuse. I hope they don't make me ship the whole box back becasue that would cost me a lot of money shipping. I think repairing this would be a nightmare. The fiberglass is very thin. And it smells like polyester resin. There's also the extra weigh in repair. I better pay the shipping money for a replacement instead.

Contact Nitroplanes about the damage. You can also go directly to the UPS website and file a claim with them.....

UPS should warrenty it. Nitro Planes will have to file the claim because they were the shipper. Call them. Norman will try to help you. Are you in So Cal. If so you can go in and talk to them. They have always been good with me.

Blessings, Terry
